I'm an atheist but that doesn't stop me from enjoying beautiful music and respecting religion! Everybody deserves to have their own opinion, muslims, christians, atheist and whatnot. While some people celebrate and praise the Lord with this music, I celebrate life :) Peace and love might mean God to other people, while it means something else to me. But it doesn't really matter, does it? We all want it and we can still join together and be happy!

Supposedly, We (Greek Orthodox , Catholic, Whoever) Are receiving comfort through the ceremony and rote of it. Kinda like meditating. Religion serves many purposes. To praise and raise your spirit is one, to help you contemplate is another. Whatever floats your boat. We probably all need some of it at some time.

I grew up in a very subdued religion also and it was such an awe insipiring change in my life when I finally changed churches and started attending not only a LIVE church but I also started attending revials. I found out quick that religion is not what God wants us to focus on. Instead, faith is the key and being fed in a congregation that is praising a LIVING God is the best food ever. My old church was like attending a funeral every sunday. My Jesus is alive. AMEN!
